You are the CT2 doctor in New England District Hospital. A patient attended to the ED on 1st October 2023 with stridor. Urgent tracheostomy under local anesthesia was done and then direct laryngoscopy was performed. It showed right transglottic mass that causes fixation to the vocal chords and extended to the anterior one third of the left vocal chord.
HPE showed moderately differentiated squamous cell carcinoma. Imaging of the neck showed right glottic mass with invasion of thyroid cartilage and no neck lymph node involvement.
